I was stoked to be asked to create the posters for Auckland Zinefest 2022. The team let me have almost full reigns of the design as long as the illustrations made use of the Zinefest’s colour palette. With only a few back-and-forth suggestions, we created this very chill scene featuring two creative ghosts getting stuck into DIY, perfect for the kaupapa of Auckland Zinefest.

Auckland Zinefest is a celebration of creativity and self-publishing, based in Tāmaki-makaurau / Auckland City, Aotearoa. They’re a local hub for zine culture, organising community events and activities that share and support DIY-publishing in Auckland and beyond.
